La densité du maillage de stations GNV sur le territoire du Grand Ouest reste un axe fort d’amélioration pour la filière. C’est un des enseignements de l’enquête menée au printemps auprès des utilisateurs du Grand Ouest.
Les collectifs Mixenn et Méthatlantique en partenariat avec GRDF. Réalisée en avril 2021, cette enquête de satisfaction auprès des professionnels possédant des véhicules roulant au gaz naturel véhicule (GNV) et sa version renouvelable, le bioGNV, dans les régions Bretagne, Pays de la Loire et Centre-Val de Loire.

Un réseau de stations à densifier
Si les utilisateurs sont largement satisfaits de leurs véhicules, le point d’achoppement dans le développement de la solution GNV reste le maillage du territoire en station d’avitaillement. Ainsi, en nombre comme en répartition sur le territoire, les stations sont un vrai sujet pour les professionnels interrogés. Ils sont ainsi 79% à considérer le nombre de stations comme insuffisant et 75% à les considérer mal réparties sur le territoire du Grand Ouest.

Des stations techniquement satisfaisantes
Si les stations manquent encore sur le territoire, celles qui ont vu le jour satisfont les professionnels. Ainsi, ils sont 97% à vanter leur simplicité d’utilisation. Point noir au tableau : le délai d’avitaillement, souvent plus long que pour leur équivalent diesel.
Parmi les points d’amélioration proposés par les professionnels interrogés, ressort, encore et toujours, le nombre de stations, jugé insuffisant. Arrivent ensuite l’augmentation du nombre de pistes pour limiter le temps d’attente, l’interopérabilité des modes de paiement aux bornes, l’information sur la station (signalétique…) et la question des auvents permettant de protéger les conducteurs en cas d’intempéries.
